Is Fighting an Art?

Categories:  Gaming

I guess the term “Martial Arts” will answer that.  So it is an art, in more ways than one. There’s boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai and many more fighting disciplines and proficiencies that promote fighting as an art and not merely a way to defend one’s self.  The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) was founded in order to identify the most effective martial art in a real fight.  The UFC News I’ve read from fighters.com shows how professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters sign up to hit and be hit.  Champions against champions fighting for the title.  The site also has a ranking for the top fighters across the country.

I have always been very vocal about my keen interest in gaming especially the World of Warcraft.  I enjoy the adrenalin rush and thrill of spawning mobs and obnoxious enemy players.  But even in those war-laden games, whenever possible, I choose the safest route, the friendliest map and the most peaceful realm just to avoid conflicts and fights.  My husband always checks my weaponry to make sure I have the nothing but the best artillery.  But I never get to use them as much.  I’m happy enough gathering materials, honing my profession, leveling up and grinding by the easy-to-kill monsters.  For lack of time and a change in perspective, I don’t play much anymore.  And I can’t watch a martial arts fight, like the UFC without covering my eyes even.  I guess I will always be a lover not a fighter.

Cataclysm and The Lost Isles

Categories:  Gaming

They say that in the world of Azeroth, any goblin would sell their best friend for a fistful of gold.  This is what brought the goblins to the The Lost Isles. When the cataclysm reawakened a volcano on their home island, one of the goblins’ trade princes, who owns a number of fleet ships took advantage and found that there was good money to be made in offering panicked goblins a ticket to safety on his ship.  He took their life savings of gold as the payment – and then planned to sell them into slavery. It could have been a clever plan until the ship fell apart in a naval crossfire between an Alliance fleet and a lone Horde ship. The shipwreck’s survivors washed ashore on the Lost Isles off the coast of Kalimdor.  This is where they discovered the island’s dense jungles harboring many mysteries and more than a few unpleasant surprises.   These little citizens are the best gold digger of all.  They excel in trading among all the races.  The truth is: only a few goblins blend shrewd business sense with a certain level of moral “flexibility”.  But they say that on this era, the goblins will finally decide which faction to join, to find where in the world they really belong.  I wonder if the class-wide character would ever change.  For sure, gold buying and selling gold coins for cash will always be their business.

Gold is an investment not just in the World of Warcraft.   The value appreciates each year because the source is no longer as abundant as it once was.  Did you know that Cash 4 Gold is in fact the original gold buyer? Don’t hesitate to sell gold online if you have plenty (or if you don’t need it anymore?).  You can’t bring it with you to the after life anyway.

MuLandia is on Season 4

Announcing to all Mutizens. The Mu continent just opened its 4th season. Here’s a video created by Jeedo:

There are many new features with Season 4, but the first important one is the 3rd Class Change. The term is actually a blanket title as only four of the six classes actually have a third profession while the others only have two. The Blade Knight, Muse Elf, Soul Master and Bloody Summoner are those four while the Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord are the two exceptions. Maximum level is at 400.
