Good news for me, my little one is finally home now. Ea was hospitalized days ago. Hours in the hospital felt like days and days felt like weeks. Ea (and her dad) were very very uneasy and were both very eager to go home. We only waited for the lab results and medications but as soon as we got it, we fled.
The reason turned out to be bacterial. Ea had a series of dirty food intake the past week and her antibodies were not able to keep up. She’s re-hydrated now and only needs to keep taking some anti-biotic meds to fully get rid of the bacteria.
I’m happy to say she’s feeling a lot better now. My current quest is to get her weight back. She lost around 2 kg. My goal is to have her gain more that what she lost. I hope her appetite will begin to pick up in the coming days.
